Sunrise Resources
Sunrise Resources plc is a multi-commodity exploration company with projects in; Canada, Ireland, Finland and Australia. Sunrise’s latest project is the Long Lake Gold Project located 20km south-west of the nickel mining centre of Sudbury (Canada) where historic drilling results include 6m @ 13.8g/t gold and 5.7m @ 30g/t gold. The claims also include a potential 10km extension to the producing Copper Cliff offset dyke system prospective for nickel-copper-platinum group metals.
Sunrise’s other projects include the historic Derryginagh barite mine near Bantry (Ireland) where the company is targeting the production of high value white “paint-grade” barite for use as mineral filler in paints and plastics; a suite of diamond assets in Finland around which the company was originally formed; and an exploration licence application targeting diamonds, platinum group metals (PGM’s) and gold in Western Australia where historic exploration by De Beers in the period 1994-2002 discovered a number of diamondiferous kimberlite dykes.
