Pulse Health’s focus is to be positioned in the private health sector as an integrated health services provider with operations encompassing private hospitals, day surgeries and community home care, and recruitment agencies. The Company currently owns four private hospitals and a number of community care facilities on the east coast of Australia

Community Home Care Services:
Pulse Health’s commitment to health care extends beyond our hospital walls.
Our Community Health Services help people who would otherwise be prematurely or inappropriately admitted to residential care facilities or into hospital, to live independently in their own home and within the community.
It is essential that the whole population has access to health and general care within the community, not just focused on large population centres. It is Pulse Health’s commitment to the community which has see us emerge as one of Australia’s most dedicated companies providing high quality community healthcare across Australia.
Community Home Services help people who would otherwise be prematurely or inappropriately admitted to residential care or hospital to live independently in their own home and the community.
Pulse Health has recognised the importance of continuing people’s independence through the provision of home services which may include service such as:
Nursing Care
Support in the management of particular health problems such as diabeties and incontinence.
Case Management
A collaborative and person-focussed process for manageing support to people with chronic, ongoing or complex conditions or situations.
Respite Care
Support to carers through the provision of flexible and responsive alternatives to the usual care arrangements.
Allied Health
Such as podiatry, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and dietetics.
Personnel and Human Resources:
Pulse Health recognises the global shortage of nursing staff and has committed to provide nursing, allied health and medical services to health facilities throughout Australia.
Our vision is to create a flexible and alternate health care employment network throughout Australia as well as ensuring that the current workforce is appropriately staffed.
The development of this network will ensure that we can supply nurses and allied medical personnel to health care providers in the private, public and aged care sectors.

Pulse Health Director - Stuart James

Mr Stuart James is an experienced executive within the financial and healthcare sectors. Mr James past roles have included Managing Director of Australian Financial Services for Colonial and Managing Director of Colonial State Bank (formerly the State Bank of N.S.W). During this time he oversaw the integration of the bank and Colonial‘s insurance operations, including the acquisition of Legal & General and Prudential’s Australian operations to create Australia’s first significant all finance operation.
Colonial was subsequently acquired by Commonwealth Bank which at the time was Australia’s largest corporate merger.
Mr James’ most recent executive role was as CEO of the Mayne Group from January 2002 to January 2005. Prior to that Mr James was Mayne’s Chief Operating Officer from July 2000. During this period he was responsible for all of Mayne’s operating businesses in Australia and internationally and ultimately responsible for the transformation of the Mayne Group from a disparate collection of unrelated businesses into two clearly defined entities (Healthcare and pharmaceuticals) which formed the basis of the demerger of Mayne Group. Stuart James is a Director of Prime Financial Group Ltd (Prime), Coneco Limited, Balnave Corporate Limited and Wolters Kluwer, an international publishing company and is also a member of the Advisory Board of Gresham Private Equity Limited.
Pulse Health Director - Dr Barry Landa

Qualifications: MBBS BSc (UNSW)
Dr Landa graduated 1973 MBBS BSc UNSW and practiced anaesthetics for 35 years, in the public sector, private sector and internationally. He purchased his first private surgical hospital in 1974.
In the late 1980s he was appointed to the Board of Markalinga Pty Ltd, the first publicly listed private hospital and Pathology Company in Australia, which were the beginnings of the Mayne Health Group. Dr Landa has, and is, involved in the design and building of acute health care facilities including primary health care centres, operating theatres, hospitals, day care and rehabilitation facilities
Pulse Health Director - Andrew Gregory

Mr. Gregory is an experienced company manager with 35 years’ experience in a variety of industries. He has significant experience with ASX listed equities investments and extensive knowledge in both fundamental and financial analysis principles.
