Unternehmensstrategie und – daten:
Since 1983, Natural Resources USA Corporation (Stock symbol: AALA) has been identifying and developing environmentally friendly opportunities for natural resources in partnership with like-minded private equity firms and individuals. In 2003 it acquired sodium bicarbonate mining and processing operations, additional sodium leases, and significant water rights. Since that time we've been meeting North America's demand for high-quality sodium bicarbonate.
Natural Resources USA Corporation owns Natural Soda Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiary, Natural Soda, Inc.
Aktuelle Tätigkeiten:
Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)
What do homemade cookies, antacids and toothpaste have in common?
They all share the common ingredient sodium bicarbonate, commonly known as baking soda.
Since 1983, Natural Resources USA Corporation has been meeting North America's sodium bicarbonate needs for baking, pharmaceutical, agricultural and industrial uses.
Natural Resources USA Corporation, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Natural Soda Holdings, Inc. and Natural Soda, Inc., owns the largest Bureau of Land Management leases in the Piceance Creek Basin which contains the largest known deposits of nahcolite, naturally occurring sodium bicarbonate, in the world. The sodium leases are located near the depositional center of the Piceance Creek Basin where the nahcolite beds are thickest and most concentrated.
Our unique advantage is our sophisticated, reliable, and efficient process for recovering pure, naturally-occurring sodium bicarbonate, adhering to strict quality standards. Natural Resources USA Corporation is accredited by International and U.S. standards organizations including ISO 9001, U.S. Pharmacopeia, American Institute of Baking, and others.
Our goal is to meet our customer demands for high quality sodium bicarbonate products delivered with responsive and reliable service.
Water Assets
In addition to its sodium bicarbonate mining operations, Natural Resources USA Corporation's subsidiary Natural Soda, Inc. owns various water rights in the Piceance Creek Basin in northwest Colorado, a part of the Colorado River drainage system.
Its long-term goal to profitably use its considerable water assets presents one of the most exciting avenues for Natural Resources USA Corporation's future growth.
According to a report by Boenning & Scattergood, an equity research firm, the surging value of water rights in recent years has rivaled that of other commodities, including oil, copper and corn.
Another research report by Jeffries & Co. noted that the water sector has outperformed the S&P 500 over the last decade because of explosive demand for fresh water and increasing dependence on non-renewable aquifers for incremental supply among other factors.
Droughts in several regions, particularly in the West, have contributed to a sharp increase in water right valuations since the late 1990s, according to Jeffries.
Natural Resources USA Corporation's various water rights allow Natural Soda, Inc. to draw up to a maximum of 108,812 acre feet (35.46 billion gallons) annually and to store up to 7,980 acre feet of water. (An acre foot is the volume of water it takes to cover an acre to the depth of one foot, which is equal to 43,560 cubic feet).
Securing Oil Shale Rights
Natural Resources USA Corporation owns sodium leases that are located in an area containing the richest oil shale in North America. It has been estimated by the U.S. Geological Service that the Piceance Creek Basin contains over 1.5 trillion barrels of oil within the oil shale deposits. This is more potentially recoverable oil than is available in Saudi Arabia.
Considerable deposits of oil shale lie below, above and are interspersed within the nahcolite contained within Natural Resources USA Corporation's sodium leases. Natural Resources USA Corporation's subsidiary Natural Soda Holdings Inc. has applied for a research lease to test recovery methods to produce oil from the oil shale that underlies and is intermingled with the sodium resources.
The company is currently engaged in researching possible methods of extraction and processing of oil shale. If we are successful in securing oil shale research, development, and demonstration leases we will test these and other recovery methods to determine the best possible method of economic recovery of oil from shale.
Shell Frontier Oil & Gas Co. has three research, development and demonstration leases adjacent to Natural Resources USA Corporation's sodium leases. A Shell fact sheet, Shell Exploration & Production Technology – to secure our energy future – Mahogany Research Project reports an estimated potential recovery rate of up to one million barrels of oil per surface acre.
